Moai Mold
thingiverse
This mold enables the creation of Moai figurines using various materials. Keep in mind that the neck region tapers slightly compared to the head, making it essential to select a casting material capable of accommodating its dimensions upon demolding. To replicate this, I used Oogoo, experimenting with casting larger objects and gauging their viability for mold separation. Results showed an encouraging feasibility, suggesting scalability, although proceeding without preliminary exercises on smaller casts might present unforeseen challenges. For a hands-on attempt, visit the webpage referencing homemade Oogoo fabrication (available at http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Make-Your-Own-Sugru-Substitute/), noting that it takes under 10 minutes to harden and remains cost-effective, with accessible local materials required for preparation. Give Oogoo a trial run today!
