The prehistoric carved rock was originally housed within the Museum of Antiquities in Newcastle, now known as the Great North Museum: Hancock. It's referenced 'Museum of Antiquities - Unprovenanced Rock 11' on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and described with seven cups. NADRAP added the record to ERA in 2008, providing a detailed description of the motifs. The record can be accessed at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=1895. A model was created from five stereo pairs captured by David Tuck, David Jones, Caroline and Ken Allott (NADRAP Team 2) in May 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
