The MO (Russian: Малый Охотник, Malyj Okhotnik; English: Small Hunter, nicknamed Moshka or Fly) was a class of diminutive warships engineered by the Soviet Navy before and during World War II. Their initial purpose was to engage in anti-submarine warfare, but they soon took on numerous other responsibilities including supporting amphibious operations and escorting vital convoys. In total, over 350 vessels were constructed for this versatile class of ships.
