The original Thing this is remixed from is great, but I found printing in PLA resulted in a socket that was too brittle to hold a standard Bionicle ball. This variant replaces the socket with a slot that fits a [standard socket piece](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32174). It includes an open slot underneath so you can still connect an axle to the other end of the socket. The slot should also be centered now.
