This is an extended Mendel Max 1.5 version with a build area of 12.6" x 8.4". It utilizes large MK1 heatbeds from eBay and features upgraded 10mm smooth rods to handle the increased width of the x-axis and additional weight on the y-axis. Most files are sourced from other Thingiverse users, but some parts have been redesigned by the creator due to dissatisfaction with their original design. Recent updates include changed X ends, added X Carriage, Top Vertex, beefed up X-Idler for strength, modified Y rod holders for easier construction and reduced binding, corrected a reversed face on the Y motor mount, and provided SketchUP build file. Required materials include 20mm Extrusion in varying lengths, LM10UU Bearings, hobbed bolt, Nema 17 Stepper Motors, lead screws, lead screw couplers, electronics (such as Ramps 1.4), a 30 Amp power supply, and a Budaschnozzle 1.2 hot end or equivalent with a new x carriage adapter plate.
