These spring cups enable users to employ the original kit's long, red, soft springs paired with 65mm eBay Aluminium Oil Shock Absorbers. The springs shipped with the shocks are crafted for buggy geometry and are far too rigid for the lightweight MN-D90. They can be printed with the slot bridged, simply cut it after printing.
