Checkout my Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/HotSquare This is a remix of an item on Myminifactory created by Michal Fanta https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-filament-buffer-for-original-prusa-i3-multi-material-upgrade-85794 I thought a printable buffer with easy access was a great idea. Michal did a great job with the design but the filament path was a bit too tight and there were sharp turns on both ends that pinched the filament causing a lot of drag. I wanted this for my enclosed filament setup. The concept was to use Spanner hands spool holders then use PTFE tube to the buffer and again to the MMU2 unit on the printer, thus slowing the absorption of moisture, preventing debris or dust, and keeping things organized while allowing for access and easy routing. My version uses 8mm x 3mm neodymium magnets commonly found on Amazon and M10 pass-through push fittings also found on Amazon. Parts needed: qt:4 - 8mm x 3mm neodymium magnets qt:10 - M10 Straight Pneumatic Push fittings qt:2 - M3 x 15 screws Be careful not to over tighten the M10 fittings as the printed thread will separate if you do it. You just need to hold a PTFE tube, not an elephant. Recommend using PETG, ABS (compensate for shrinkage), or Modified PLA for the frames. Standard PLA won't cut it here. You can use whatever you want for the dividers. Kalliman has remixed a table top version, making it easy to access filament. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3782338
