MMU2S Lack Table Mounting Bracket and PTFE Guide
prusaprinters

EDIT: I highly recommend you print this in TPU or TPE as it greatly reduces the MMU noise and vibrations when the motors are moving. The included buffer from Prusa fits perfectly fine behind the mmu unit on an Ikea Lack. I used an attachment (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3545935) on the buffer to easily line up the filament inputs/outputs and feed into the mmu. I have no issues running with the buffer, please see the newly added picture.

I decided to mount my MMU2 unit on top of my Ikea Lack Enclosure and route the PTFE tube down to the printer. This helps greatly with troubleshooting and loading filament. It also allowed me to easily mount my spools above the enclosure and feed the filament to the MMU without any sharp bends.

You need to print two of the table brackets and install them to the existing mounting holes under the MMU2 unit with the table holes facing away from the unit. Then bolt them to the table using any desired screw type that fits the M3 holes. I added rubber foam under the brackets to reduce enclosure vibration.

The tube guide should either be sanded or lined with tape to prevent damage to the ptfe tube when moving. You must use supports when printing this object. It is easily installed using M3 screws.
Category: 3D Printer Accessories
