MMU2S Filament Buffer Remix
thingiverse
These are some parts that I remixed from the TZB MMU2S Filament Buffer tower and made my own improvements. I added hooks at the top and a channel on the base to keep the side acrylic in place without using glue, although it's still recommended for better humidity control. I also added a cover to the top case to make the setup even air-tight. I made some other changes too. The base is now hinged and has a pocket for the desiccant so you can easily swap it out. The base comes with two files - one that fits 2 fifty-gram desiccant packs and another one that holds a single five-hundred-gram pack. If you're using the larger desiccant holder, I suggest setting up supports for the bridging at the top. The standard desiccant base uses M3x30 bolts while the 500g base uses M3x40 bolts. The hinge is designed to work with an M3 threaded rod and I used a couple of nylon nuts on each side to keep it secure when you open it. I also created a pegboard mount for the buffer tower that will hold it at an angle, so the numbers are facing outwards.
