*Updated 1/13/2018*: adjusted filament path and tolerances for a smoother insert fit. This sensor cover is designed to work seamlessly with M5 brass inserts, widely available locally. I sourced mine from https://spool3d.ca/m5-x-7mm-od-x-8mm-brass-threaded-insert/. To install the insert, thread it through the part on an M5 bolt and heat it up with a lighter until it's pliable. Then, tighten the bolt to secure the insert in place. I haven't tested this with my MMU2 yet, but theoretically, it should work without any issues. STEP files are included for anyone who wants to modify or customize the design. A special thank you goes out to drodfro for creating the Bear compatible BMG extruder.
