I rewired the idler body to feed filament directly through, eliminating the pesky PTFE tube holder altogether. The design is specifically tailored to work seamlessly with these push-fit connectors: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IB81IHG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I've also configured the thread to match them, ensuring compatibility with other similar connectors. To prevent filament snags during insertion, I added funnels to the channel. Meanwhile, my spanner hands filament containers are equipped with a backfeed prevention mod for added safety and efficiency.
