This is an original design inspired by https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/2074-mmu2-filament-ptfe-guide-for-ikea-lack-table which didn't work out for me because it narrows at the end preventing the tubing from coming all the way through, and because my Lack table has plexiglass sides that prevent the c-clamp design from fitting at all.

This model is designed to screw into the back side of the tabletop using the same size screws used in the construction of the enclosure (the 3/4 inch pan head screws). I created a few iterations of the shape of the tube path and ultimately found that a straight path at this angle allows for a very low friction filament guide.

After printing 5 of the auto-rewinding spool holders (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/168-universal-auto-rewind-spool-holder-mm/) and arranging them on top of the enclosure it became necessary to run much longer PTFE tubes from the two that were staggered in the back row. These brackets are key to keeping the extra long PTFE tube out of the way of other spools.

Print instructions

2 perimeters, 15%
