MMU2 Amazon "Festo" Holder
thingiverse
The filament management system bundled with the MMU2 setup's spool holders is a clever concept, but its limitations lie in its pickiness when it comes to arranging the spools and routing the filament through PTFE tubing. Chris Warkocki offers a straightforward solution that could provide more flexibility in choosing spool locations and potentially reduce instances where filament doesn't coil properly, snagging in various places. This design is a remix of Chris' original concept, condensed into one piece to fit the PTFE fittings purchased from Amazon. They can be found at http://a.co/d/bXJCLVm. The hole should be sized so that threading the fitting by hand results in just enough friction to secure it in place. Avoid over-threading, as this will prevent the fitting from snapping onto the spool holder stand. A step file is included for reference, along with the original Fusion360 file located in the source repository.
