MMU-Wallet

This is a remix. I really liked the concept of the MMU "Wallet" design. However, the Prusa cradles were taking up way too much space on my desktop. You'll need to print out four copies of the MMU-support.stl file. I've included a drawing of the support system, which consists of 1/2 plywood attached to a piece of 2x4. I added extra weight by attaching another piece of 2x4 below the supports. The left and right side retainers are held in place with sheet metal screws that pass through keyhole openings. I simply marked the holes on the plywood by holding it up against the screw heads, then tightened them down just enough to hold everything in place. I cut out the acrylic parts using a laser cutter, and have included pdfs for two of them: acrylic1256.pdf. You don't necessarily need to use a laser cutter; I had access to one, so that's what I chose. The tabs on the left side make it easier to remove individual "pages" when you take off the left retainer, but they're not necessary. The right side has notches in the corners for better access to the filament. The upper and lower supports hold the PTFE tubing in place and are attached with sheet metal screws. I tightened them down once I found an angle that worked for me. You can see that my setup allows me to switch between seven different filaments. Each one has its own PTFE tube, which makes it easy to swap out the top tube when using a new filament. There's a video showing the system in action; the filament jumps you'll see are just quick realignments caused by the filaments themselves, not any edits on my part.
