MMU Top Hat

This is a design I came up with as a gift idea for my nephews. My mom wanted a package topper that would complement her snowman-shaped packaging, so I designed this top hat to sit on its head. While playing around with my MMU2.0 unit for my Prusa i3 mk3, I created four different body designs in Fusion 360 and sliced them using Slic3er Prusa Edition. I printed the hats mostly with default settings, only adjusting the infill and extruder number per body. So far, I've printed two of these top hats - one with a white band and one with a red band. They were both printed without supports at a .2mm layer height. The prints are mostly hollow, with 10% infill, and each took about 12 hours to complete. I used black for the brim of the hat and stack as extruder 1, silver for the buckle as extruder 4, and red and white for the band as extruder 2. All these settings can be adjusted in Slic3erPE to match your desired colors. While I printed the hats without supports for the buckle, there was some drooping in the lower part of the buckle, so if you want to see how well supports work, I recommend using one of the newer features of Slic3erPE - the customized support enforcer at the middle buckle level. I also suggest setting the seam alignment to rear. Other than that, feel free to adjust settings as desired and have fun with this design.
