<p>I had problems to fit big spools from e.g. "DAS FILAMENT" (2.6kg) onto the original spool holders for my MMU2S.<br/> I really do like the holders and want to keep them, so I designed this adapter. Now the spools fit perfectly and can be used just like the smaller ones.<br/> You won't need any extra parts like screws or nuts. Just print four adapters, put them on the original bearing holders and insert the rollers on top.<br/> The bearings will snap into place and can't fall out. The adapters themselves are tight by design and won't fall out, too.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>File can be printed without support structures in the orientation provided in the download.</p> <p>You can print it with the draft/fast profiles provided by Prusa.</p> <p>If you are using a nozzle > 0.4mm, please disable the option <em>Detect thin walls</em> in the print settings. It could cause slicing problems at the thin wall which keeps the bearing from falling inside the original holder.</p>
