MMU mini spool MK8.1
thingiverse
Update: Added cartridge 2.2, not yet tested, along with secondary wheel holder 2.2 - both minimizing tolerances and directing filament towards the wheels. Updated design eliminates gap between secondary wheel and its holder, preventing filament from slipping off the wheel. This redesign is based on Steveps3's Prusa MMU mini buffer MK8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3970400). The entire model has been reworked, but individual parts might still be compatible with the original design. To assemble this new design, print 2 arms and wheels, then everything else just once. M10 connectors have been added for support, and the intake is now centered to minimize unnecessary friction. When using the secondary wheel (front one), only one M10 connector needs to be assembled. Alternatively, install two more and use a PTFE tube between them instead of the secondary wheel. A base has been added without the off-center connector holder, which is no longer needed. The bottom features a lip to guide filament into the wheel. Secondary wheels have also been incorporated to reduce friction. Additionally, a longer cover has been included to prevent filament tangling with spool.
