IKIA Enhances Accessibility with Enclosure Mount for Prusa MMU 2.0. The original plan of mounting the MMU seemed impractical, as it made accessing the load/unload buttons a challenge due to their difficult reach and readability. This IKIA design secures the MMU using existing hardware and bolts directly onto the enclosure's top surface. To make this setup work, users will need to extend both power and signal wires. Prusa has established a maximum feed length limit for individual hotends. To avoid any issues with the MMU's functionality, it is crucial to position the MMU close to the top pass-through opening when using this design. I personally encountered problems where the MMU couldn't achieve sufficient length to operate correctly and had to reposition the unit closer to the top pass-through to resolve the issue.
