MMSHCMfC (Mitsubishi Mirage Seat Heater Control Mount for Cupholder)
thingiverse
Many Mitsubishi Mirage owners, also known as Space Star models in Europe, are facing a chilly problem - their seats aren't heated! This can be a real issue during the cold winter months. Luckily, there's an affordable solution available on eBay - carbon fiber seat heating mats with cables and control units for around $40. However, finding a suitable spot to mount the control knob can be a challenge. The center console often lacks free space, making it difficult to find a convenient location. Some owners might not need two cupholders, so they can repurpose one of them as a control unit holder. This is exactly what I did - I mounted my seat heater control in the left cupholder and created a custom mount that fits perfectly. No glue was required for this DIY project; all it needed was a 20mm hole drilled into the middle of the cupholder button on the center console to run the cable through. To give it a more stylish look, I covered the mount with leather. If you decide to take on this project, be sure to share your pictures!
