MMI Modular USB Power Enclosure (Eurorack)

thingiverse

This is an enclosure for the "MMI Modular USB Power" eurorack power busboard. It makes a handy power supply for testing modules on the bench. See https://github.com/MMImodular/Modules/tree/master/USBPower and https://www.mmimodular.com/modules/usb-power/ The enclosure comes in 6 parts - the main top and bottom shell, two end caps (one with a USB-B socket hole) and two sleeves/legs that hold it together. This enclosure doesn't use any screws - the two halves are held together by the slip-on sleeves that also act as small legs. The OpenSCAD files are included, so you can tweak this as you like (eg to add screw holes or other features). The enclosure features a vent above the Meanwell DKM10E-12 DC-DC converter. Testing under load for many hours suggests that the heatsink of the converter does not get hot enough to deform or melt PLA plastic.
