4-8-2015 Lights, Camera, Action! A Parabolic Masterpiece Takes Shape. We're Interpolating the Curve of a Dish from Discrete Points of a Parabolic Slice: {x^2/90 - 0.1 >= y >= x^2/90}. Scale is in centimeters, and this model is based on an interpretation of a ground-based satellite dish. The Diameter measures 60 cm, while Depth reaches 10 cm with a Thickness of just 1 mm. And here's where it gets exciting: the Receiver is placed at the Focus - a precise 22.5 cm from the Vertex.
