MMC r01 terminus hexatron elbow joint
thingiverse
I recently purchased an MMC r01 terminus Hexatron and discovered that the elbow joint was broken. I decided to repair it instead of replacing the entire unit. Now, the Hexatron is fully operational. This replacement part was designed by reverse-engineering the broken one and other surrounding components. Although it's not identical to the original (some features like bevels and shapes were altered), it fits perfectly and maintains all functionality. However, it does click a bit less loudly due to smaller gear teeth, which I implemented to preserve the original stopper or clicker. It's possible that the biceps swivel might need to be slightly tighter for optimal performance. The supports should definitely be included in any print. The raft is optional, but if you choose to use it, make sure the hinge separator (the part that contacts the bed) is securely fastened to prevent it from shifting during printing.
