MM3 Rambo Mount
thingiverse
I experienced clearance issues with the rails used to mount the Rambo board within the MendelMax 3.0 kit. Therefore, I created the mounting components, shown in yellow in the photo, which provide a more secure fit. The top extension adds 1 cm reach so the mounting rail doesn't hit against the Y stepper motor mount. I made slots in this component to prevent the parts from having to be perfectly mounted. The necessary components for printing include: 4 M3 x 16 screws 6 M3 nuts 4 M3 x 8 screws To assemble, insert two M3 nuts into the back of each Rambo Nut Retainer part. Then use two M3 x 8 screws to attach these to the top rail, as depicted in the photo.
