The Mendel Max 2 spool holder securely hangs on its frame without permanent attachment. To assemble, insert a 12mm tube/dowel for spool support, ensuring it's long enough to avoid Z-axis interference. Use a spacer to prevent the spool from sliding down. The rotating axis has an angle to keep the spool in place. It's strong and can hold up to two spools with good prints. This is one of my initial FDM designs, with photos to be uploaded later. Don't forget to add a bolt+T-Nut on the top part with T-Nut on the side with the protrusion holding the spool axis.
