Securely fasten the extruder cable harness to your Mendel Max 2's X carriage using Mendel Max 2 extruder cable mount. This device ensures strain relief for the cable harness and employs 2x M5x8-10 screws to attach it to the X carriage. For additional security, use zip-ties to fasten the wire harness. The mount is available in two versions: a 25mmx25mm size that fits the Kysan 5:1 motor included in the MM2 kit and a 10mmX25mm version for accommodating longer motors like Phidgets 5:1 motor. In my printer setup, I have made the harness modular, enabling easy extruder removal for maintenance while ensuring cables remain firmly attached to the X carriage.
