MLK Monument ReMIX

The MLK monument posted by Graphicsforge truly stood out as beautiful. Nonetheless, the full monument was quite large in scale. I sought a model where Dr. King's likeness could still be clearly distinguishable even when printed at smaller sizes. A 'bust-sized' version seemed more feasible for 3D printing capabilities. Taking some creative liberties, I moved the inscription up to achieve this goal. For most of the final work, I relied on TinkerCAD, but initially utilized Mesh Mixer to cut out the base and reduce the rock formation's geometry, thereby retaining more detail on the face and body - whether this approach was entirely successful remains uncertain.
