Located at the Mleiha Archaeological Center in Sharjah's central region, UAE, stands the imposing "Mleiha Fort", a fortified palace that served as a powerful residence when trade routes converged here 2000 years ago. Excavations uncovered numerous well-preserved treasures including coin molds, metalworking evidence and coin-making tools, alongside an extensive array of pottery from the known world at that time. The fort was unearthed during road construction in the 1990s, with His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi issuing orders for its preservation, excavation and conservation. Data processing involved Reality Capture techniques.
