ML320 glovebox light switch
thingiverse
I'm glad you like my 1999 ML320. The glove box light has been stuck on for nearly five years now. Initially, I solved the issue by placing some tape on the door to cover it up but that solution only worked for a while. When Christmas rolled around, I decided to use my new 3D printer as an opportunity to finally fix the problem. My first project with this printer was surprisingly successful. After printing the replacement light bezel and carefully sanding down any imperfections caused by its tight tolerances, it functioned perfectly. I'm sharing this process in the hopes that it will be useful to someone else who may face a similar issue. Print Settings Rafts: Supports: None Resolution: Medium Infill Percentage: 15% Post-Printing Additional touches of sanding helped bring everything together smoothly.
