This is a bracket for mounting an MKS Base V1.2 board into a Davinci printer. OpenScad source code is included and should be easy to adapt to other boards or other printers. Why choose an MKS Base over RAMPS? The power connectors on the RAMPS 1.4 boards aren't rated for the current they draw, causing them to overheat quickly. I've seen firsthand what happens when a RAMPS board is left unattended - it will literally burst into flames after about an hour of usage and burn a significant hole in whatever surface it's sitting on. MKS Base has all the features I need at a price that's just slightly higher than a RAMPS board, making it an excellent value for its price. It has worked flawlessly so far without any issues. Do yourself a favor and opt for something better than a RAMPS board. If you're not nearby when it catches fire, you could lose your house in the blaze. Print Settings Printer: Prussa i3 Clone Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Any (I used a .8 volcano nozzle and .3 layer height) Infill: 15% Notes: As long as printing warps aren't an issue, any filament should work. I personally use PET-G because it's my go-to material - reasonably priced, prints great, and doesn't warp. Post-Printing Mounting screws I designed this bracket to be screwed onto the DaVinci first, install the board, then screw it down. However, it holds the board securely without any screws. After verifying that normal screws can self-thread into the holes, I never actually used them to hold the board in place.
