MKS TMC2209 v1.0 with MKS SGEN_L enable sensorless homing hardware hack
thingiverse
I have a MKS SGEN_L board and I wanted the MKS TMC2209 v1.0 drivers to produce an endstop signal for sensorless homing. This issue only applies to the MKS TMC2209 v1.0 drivers; they corrected it in version 2.0. In addition to setting the diagnostic jumpers on the SGEN_L board, you must solder a slightly Z-shaped bent pin to the driver as shown in the photos I've uploaded here. This pin connects to the J13/J14/J15/J16/J17 socket. I hope this brief information will help others fix their printers and enjoy sensorless homing! (I had to add an .svg file to publish this, so just ignore it.)
