This is a basic slanted mount designed specifically for the new TFT 3.5 LCD touch screen from MKS, where USB and SD plugs are easily accessible from the front. It is engineered to attach seamlessly to 2020 extrusions. A quick search on Thingiverse and other platforms revealed that most mounts available are designed for the standard version, with USB and SD access on the side. I sourced my mount directly from AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32990130029.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.18.3d0f1c7ag2x8vC The provided STL files include: - MKS TFT3.5-FW mockup - MKS TFT3.5-FW slanted mount - Front part of the mount - Base part of the mount This design attaches to the lower left corner, and using both the Front and Base STLs, you can easily achieve the desired orientation either by printing and gluing the two parts together or by positioning them in your slicer for a single piece print. The TFT is securely attached to the mount using 4x M3x6 screws inserted from the back. M5 nuts are used to fix the mount to 2020 extrusions. During testing, I printed the prototype in two pieces, using the Front STL for initial fit assessment. The SD slot was widened with a file, and then the Base was printed without support. However, the Front part revealed that minor adjustments were necessary, primarily widening the SD slot. These modifications are incorporated into the attached STLs: - Increased width for the SD reader - Slightly thicker spacers to secure the TFT to the mount using M3x6 screws without a washer The small vertical PCB where the SD and USB sockets are located extends almost 30mm downward, necessitating a deep well for this mount.
