MKS Sbase 3030 Frame Case

8-13-17 A brand-new cover has been added with cutouts designed specifically for an 80mm fan. My board tends to run warmer than I prefer, so some airflow is always beneficial. This design allows the fan to be mounted on the outside of the case. Additionally, a v2.1 cover has been created with countersunk holes for M5 screws. Since my printer uses M5x10 button head screws throughout the build, this keeps things consistent. If that's not essential to you, the original cover will still work fine. The design has undergone a significant overhaul to fit the back panel of my Hypercube Evolution. Firstly, I cut down the 3030 bracket so it can fit snugly into the rear upper corner of my frame. Secondly, I eliminated the lower vents to simplify printing as they're not necessary due to the honeycombed front and rear ventilation. Thirdly, I shortened the case because there's no fan and honeycomb ventilation is in use. Fourthly, I cleaned up the removed fan hole from the side. Fifthly, I added frame mount holes directly into the case on the upper and right sides. These are positioned low to allow the printer to sit further out the rear and not be flush with the back panel. A small groove in the corner enables the frame L bracket grub screws to fit. Lastly, I rebuilt the lid with ventilation and designed it to overlap the frame for added support of the box. The files indicate v2, but since there was no v1 posted here initially, it's accurate that it was made available as v2.
