This is my design for the Makerbase PI_TS35 Display. I was looking for a stunning mount for my custom VORON Trident 300 build but could not find any designs that matched my expectation. As a result of this I decided to design one myself based on this design: Ken226 Printables (https://www.printables.com/cs/model/444513-voron-switchwire-btt-tft35-spi-v21-housing).!!!Read the Instructions If you haven't printed 2 colors on 1 Layer Prints!!!HOW TO PRINT THE FRAME with the Frame_orna. left/right (without glue) and the Mount:-> Load the 3 STL's mentioned above in your Slicer-> Merge all 3 Parts together (It makes live much easier)-> If you use CURA as your Slicer you can use the "Lay flat" function on the left hand side"view 3 pic."-> Maybe you need to rotate the Parts "view 4&7 pic."-> After that you need to "Ungroup Models" and delete the FRAME because we only needthe ornaments for now.-> In your slicer-settings we need to set the "Initial Layer Horizontal Expantion" to 0otherwise we'll get a gap between the FRAME and the ornaments.-> Another Important thing to do, is to deactivate any kind of Build Plate Adhesion like aSkirt, Brim or Raft.-> NOW you can slice the Part and hit Print.-> After the Print is finished DON’T take of the Parts yet. We need them later on thesame position and maybe set the Bed temp. to your printingtemp. so the Pratsdon’t go off by themselves.-> Go back to your Slicer and hit Ctrl+Z to bring back the FRAME and delete the ornaments.-> Before you can slice the Part we need to ad a Z_hop of about 0.4 mm so the Nozzledoesn't drag the Parts off the Buildplate-> Slice the FRAME Part with your favourite Filament preset and hint Print again. (here you can put a Brim If you have a Problem with Adhesion)-> Finally, you need to print the MKS PI_TS35 VORON MountParts List:For mounting the MSK PI TS_35 Mount:Use the M3x8 screw which are normally used to mount the mini 12864 (original Voron Display)For mounting the MKS PI_TS35 Display:Use M3 Heatset Inserts for the Display Mount.I used some leftover SHCS but you can also use BHCSHope you like the design. It would be very helpful for me to get your feedback to improve myself and projects like this one.
