This is a remix from Euter's MOSFET holder. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2803881 MKS MOSFET holder for Sidewinder X1 nozzle heating element. Parts list: - MKS MOSFET (80A with optocouplers) - This printed holder - 2x T-nuts - 2x screws for T-Nuts - 4x small screws for MOSFET - cables with fuse holder to the MOSFET from PSU (e.g. AWG14 red and black) - Fuse, Amps according your heating element setup! - old cables from board mosfet to the new MOSFET - crimped electric wire ferrules on wire ends. In ASWX1-Facebook group many users experience heating element failures, sometimes due to MKS Gen L board mosfet failing. With this mod the weak onboard mosfet will only trigger the load over the new 80A MKS MOSFET. This is a holder for the big Mosfet to fit in the case. It can be mounted on the aluminium profile near the bottom plate fan. Install instructions are available on the internet, i just added an additional fuse from PSU to the MKS MOSFET, because the new mosfet is not connected directly to the board and it's onboard SMD fuses. Attention: This is no install instruction! Don't do electrical modifications if you are no professional electrician. Unplug the mains cable before opening the case.
