The item is a custom enclosure designed specifically for the Mks Gen 3D printer. It consists of multiple components, which include mounting two 40 mm fans inside the case directly over Pololu drivers. A photograph shows the work in progress; cables on the right-hand side should be repositioned to the opposite side, and an additional fan is supposed to be installed from within (due to a shortage of NSR connectors). I conducted a test with one fan cooling the board, which undoubtedly improved performance when compared to without fans. Installing two fans will likely provide even better results. Post-Assembly Instructions Mounting: 1. Place the lower and upper parts behind the Mks Gen 3D printer. 2. Secure them using originally provided screws and nuts. 3. Take a cover and screw in the fans with M3 x 16 screws; each fan requires two screws. 4. COVER THE SCREWS FROM INSIDE WITH INSULATION TAPE TO PREVENT SHORT CIRCUITS. Electronic connections must be inserted below the hot end cooler using connectors (NDR/NSR) if provided. Alternatively, use standard cable connectors. Stepper connections should be routed through holes from the right side; you may need to temporarily disassemble the Z-end stop to accommodate this. Cables for power and heater are provided with dedicated holes at the top of the case. The hot end cooling fan line goes on the left-hand side, while other cables can be secured using spiral thermal insulation tape at the bottom of the enclosure. Finally, press the cover against the acrylic and secure it with short screws from both the bottom and top sides. IMPORTANT NOTE: Be extremely cautious when handling electronic connections to ensure proper insulation is provided for all metal parts that may come into contact with the interior of the case.
