thingiverse
A versatile mount bracket designed specifically for MKS GEN electronics on a 2020 V-slot extrusion is now available for testing. The latest version of this bracket has been successfully tested with the MKS Gen 1.4 model. The "bottom aligned" version features a perfectly synchronized alignment between the bottom of the bracket and the edge of the extrusion, ensuring seamless integration. On the other hand, the "top aligned" version boasts an upper surface that is in perfect sync with the extrusion's edge. A unique feature of this mount bracket is its adaptability to 20x40 alu extrusion frames, complete with a notch specifically designed for attaching 2040 alu angle brackets. Installation involves simply inserting four M3 nuts into designated seats on the bottom surface and securing the PCB using four M3x12 screws. When it comes to attaching the bracket to the 2020 extrusion, two M4x10 screws are all that's needed. For users familiar with Solidworks, note that SLDPRT files were created using an Onshape export procedure. While this ensures compatibility, it's essential to remember that these files may not be compatible with every version of Solidworks.
