Mounting bracket designed specifically for boards, with the board sitting securely on top. Holes are precision-crafted to be tapped post-print, utilizing M5x0.8 on the bottom and M3x0.5 on top - slightly undersized from tap chart hole sizes due to plastic limitations. For optimal results, screws can be driven directly into holes without tapping; if this is the preferred method, consider adding a small negative value to your Horizontal Expansion setting for improved accuracy. Bottom holes are concentric with their top counterparts, providing stability and balance. Alternatively, double-sided tape on the base offers an adhesive solution, eliminating the need for drilling holes in the enclosure. This design was created for the SKR V1.3 but also accommodates the V1.1 and MKS Gen L, thanks to identical hole patterns. A wall at the front allows for precise matching-drilling with the enclosure's mounting hole. This feature ensures a secure and stable fit. The height of 0.91in was chosen specifically for custom enclosures; however, users can easily adjust this dimension by scaling Z up or down in their slicer, accommodating different enclosure requirements.
