MKS GEN L Housing for FLSUN CUBE or other 2020 frames
prusaprinters

I have designed this housing because the original mount plate won't keep airflow away from the printing bed. This design can be mounted in a way that it redirects exhaust air away from the printer.

This housing can hold a MKS GEN L V1.0 controller board and a common heatbed relay. There's also some room left to hide the extra length of the cables.

For cooling, an 80mm fan is used.

The base comes in 2 variants. You need only one: "MKS Housing Base" or "MKS Housing Base simple"

For the fan grille, you can find mroe designs here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2813669

Print Settings

Printer:

FLSUN CUBE

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

Doesn't matter

Infill:

Use 100% for maximum stiffness

Post-Printing

Part assembly

1) Mount the the controller board (and relay board if needed) on the "MKS base".
2) Mount the "MKS base" on your printer frame.

Snap the "MKS housing frame" on the "MKS base".
