This bracket installs an MKS Gen L and a Raspberry Pi (3 B) inside a Wanhao i3 Plus printer. Installing this is not straightforward; it requires comfort with soldering and rewiring the printer. Despite online claims, the MKS Gen L does fit within the printer's confines, albeit with a tight squeeze. However, the USB port gets obstructed, necessitating a solution. Instead of cutting a new hole for access, I de-soldered the USB port from the MKS Gen L and soldered a USB cable directly to the board. Powering the Raspberry Pi is tricky when using a micro USB cable with a long head due to limited space. To address this issue, I ordered a right angle micro USB extender from AliExpress.
