My custom case for the MKS gen 2Z V1.2 board is designed to keep the electronics cool with two high-performance 40mm fans. To assemble this case, you will need a few essential tools and materials. Specifically, you'll require an M3 thread tap to create threads in the bottom part of the case, as well as four M3x40 screws for securing the top part. Note that my box top part is version 1, which might differ from the latest designs shown in pictures or included in the STL model. The latest versions are on my list of projects to complete soon. When pairing this case with a Sunhokey Prusa, you'll need to make some adjustments to the Z-axis endstop mounting plate. I used the original Sunhokey plate and relocated it to the opposite side of the frame. Additionally, you'll need to move the endstop screw about 12mm and replace it with a longer one. The original endstop plate should also be shortened accordingly. You can view all the necessary modifications in the accompanying pictures. For an even neater look, consider shortening the printer wires so they fit snugly within the case. Edit: I've added an MKG gen 2Z V1.2 box designed for three 40mm fans to enhance cooling efficiency. If you're interested in this option, find it in STL format.
