MKS Gen 1.4 topholder (Anycubic Kossel)
thingiverse
This is my first design! Zero modifications were made for someone with limited knowledge at my side! More photos will be posted soon! Remixed this great idea to suit my needs. Started from scratch (no STL import). - Wanted a place board on top of the printer for better cooling motor drivers if you use TMC2100 and heated bed. - Moved fan to cool all motor drivers. - Fixed USB connection problem. - Added a fun little thing to the bottom of the holder with lighted board name (photos with LED strip lighting will be posted soon). - Replaced 120 fan with AKASA Slimfan 120x120x15 (http://www.akasa.com.tw/search.php?seed=AK-FN078). MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder.stl - lighting board name with piece of LED strip and 1.2mm thick piece of sanded plexiglas (87x11mm) MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_V1.stl - with board name without lighting MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_V2.stl - without board name and lighting L_MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_support.stl - left top boardholder support XY vertex R_MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_support.stl - right top boardholder support XY vertex L_XZ_MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_support.stl - twisted boardholder support XZ vertex R_YZ_MKS_Gen_1.4_topholder_support.stl - twisted boardholder support YZ vertex You can use the board holder with another mounts on bottom too (just make new holder legs for your own needs or remix existing ones) All holes are for M3 bolts. No nuts needed, just screw in. Printed from PLA with 20% infill. You can use ABS too. Made with Autodesk Fusion 360 EDIT: 11.04.2018 Added more photos. Not yet finally upgraded printer. Lot of cable management to do. New things coming soon! Stay tuned!
