MKS Gen 1.4 Organized Wiring Case

MKS Gen 1.4 Organized Wiring Case

thingiverse

This is a case for the MKS Gen 1.4 board, where I focused on creating an organized wiring layout that's easy to navigate if future modifications are needed. The design inspiration came from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2627540. Two versions of this case are available for download, differing in their mounting options: one secures the case to the side, while the other attaches it to the bottom. If specific mount preferences are desired, feel free to mention them in the comments section and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. This case features three fan mounting locations - two 4010 fans on top and bottom, along with a single 7025 fan on the cover. The necessary hardware for assembly includes: * Four m3 x 6mm bolts to mount the board * Six m3 x 20mm bolts (or slightly shorter) to attach the cover * Determining the correct bolt length is essential for securing the case to your 3D printer, as the holes are 5mm wide; I recommend using m3 screws rather than m5s due to size constraints. * Eight m3 x 20mm bolts and eight m3 nuts are required for mounting the two 4010 fans * Four m3 x 35mm bolts and four m3 nuts are necessary for securing the single 7025 fan If you decide to print this case, I'd love to see your finished product - please share a make!
