MKS GEN 1.4 and Rasberry Pi Enclosure
thingiverse
So I started browsing Thingiverse and couldn't find an electronics enclosure that perfectly matched my requirements. So I took matters into my own hands and drew one up myself! This enclosure is designed to fit a MKS Gen V1.4, a Raspberry Pi (2, 3) and a 120 mm fan with ease. It features cutouts on the side for power wiring and ethernet cables that connect directly to the MKS Gen and Pi - they may not be perfectly aligned, but they're close enough for most users. On another side, there are cutouts for stepper motor wiring, end stops, thermistors, and other components. I've added ventilation slots to three sides of the case, which I've covered with dust filters that I purchased from Amazon to keep my workspace clean. One thing to note: Screw holes are specifically designed for M3 screws, and the standoffs on the bottom need to be drilled out before assembly. This enclosure may be taller than necessary, but I wanted to leave plenty of clearance for the wiring associated with my TMC 2130's. If you decide to print this design, I hope you enjoy it!
