MKS BASE V1.4 Laser Cut Box
thingiverse
I needed a fast and easy fan mount for my printer because it keeps overheating in my garage. The box is designed specifically for 1/4 inch wood cut on my K40 laser cutter. I'm posting this now before I even start cutting it out, so I don't know yet how well it will fit together perfectly. A picture of the finished product shows everything lined up just right - no issues at all! To hold it together, I used finishing nails instead of wood glue, but either way would work just fine. The fan shroud and holes are set up for an 80mm computer fan, which is being powered by my printer's 12v power supply. So far, everything seems to be working well with no problems at all.
