So, you're currently stuck with an Arduino-based MKS-BASE V1.3 control board (or other 100x80mm board) on your Hictop (or other) brand 3D printer? Does that bring you down? Do 32 bit processing and 1/32 micro-stepping get you pumped up? Don't you wish you could just upgrade to a far superior control board, simply Plug N' Play? Now you can! - Using this awesome 100x80mm to 138.5x87mm adapter board, you can retire that old Arduino-based controller for a far superior Smoothie-based ride. No, seriously. I created this adapter board so I could install my shiny new MKS-SBASE controller in the stock place on my HICTOP-3DP11. It didn't have to look fancy (gets covered up by the control board) but I made it slightly aesthetically pleasing anyway. Why not? Anyway, I hope you enjoy this adapter if you need it. Also, FWIW, I highly recommend buying a real Smoothieboard to support development on this amazing controller; the hardware and software are absolutely amazing. If these affordable SBASE boards weren't so inexpensive, I'd have gone that way. I'm building another machine soon, and will be getting a Smoothieboard 5X. I'll upload an adapter for that when the time comes. Unless anyone needs an adapter for the real Smoothieboard now, just send me the dimensions for your original mounting point, and I'll whip one up for you!
