MK8 Mount Oneup Twoup Threeup Q3D
thingiverse
I designed this for my 175mm Q3D ThreeUp. Another one was uploaded, but it didn't drop the MK8 far enough for the x carriage to reach the bed. This one recesses it down, and you'll see why. It holds the mk8 extruder and has a thicker back wall, 8.5mm thick, to space the MK8 out far enough to clear my X-Axis endstop. Thick white endstops with red button switches were included, but I still had to grind down the fan guard so it cleared a mounting screw on the endstop. Offsets will need to be set. Four x4 bolt holes are spaced 28mm apart, square and recessed. Made for 45mm x 8mm diameter bearings, spaced 55mm apart. Printed at 0.4 layer resolution. Perimeter speed: 40mm/s Solid layers: 30mm/s Bridging speed: 30mm/s Infill speed: 35mm/s Travel speed: 160mm/s Used Inland ABS, and it came out great. You'll need an M3 screw and nut. The bracket my friend gave me with the printer is a plate that connects the X-Axis 45mm long, 8mm diameter rod bearings, with 28mm spaces between all four hole mounts. However, I found that Thingiverse versions had holes too close together. If you have the larger backplate or upgrade, like mine, which has 55mm from center rod to center rod on my back plate, this design will fit perfectly. More 3D printer extruders can be found online.
