I recently purchased a metal MK8 extruder kit designed specifically for my Ender 3 printer, only to discover upon arrival that the crucial spacer pin had been omitted from the package. This critical component is responsible for securely seating the long screw within the arm, and its absence presented an immediate challenge. With no hesitation, I simply turned to 3D printing as a solution, creating the necessary spacer pin on my own.
