Mk8 Feeder/Extruder Filament Guide 1.75mm

This is a simple 1.75mm filament guide, designed for use on both the in and out sides of an aluminum MK8 extruder. It features a 2.5mm ID guide hole and comes equipped with an external M6 thread. After upgrading my CR-10 to an all-metal extruder, I needed one to ensure smooth operation. To get it right, print it precisely at 0.1mm layer height, with 100% infill and no support required. Be extremely gentle when inserting this printed thread, as it will snap easily if over-tightened - tighten only as much as necessary. I advise against using it on plastic extruder bodies due to potential gauling issues between plastic threads. Instead, use an M6 nut to chase the thread up and down a couple of times before use. This ensures that if the thread breaks (usually caused by underextrusion), it will only break inside the nut, not the intended housing. I successfully used this guide on both the incoming and outgoing sides of my MK8 extruder and found it works flawlessly for keeping filament nicely guided.
