This upgrade supersedes low-cost MK8 extruders available online, such as Amazon's B0774JZ9N5 model, by incorporating a cable clip and a basic filament guide. Also included is a 6mm insert that can be screwed in before connecting the bowden coupler. This should ideally position the filament centrally for smooth passage into the coupler. It's crucial to ensure that filament flows easily through this upgrade to avoid increasing system pressure. We highly recommend cleaning up any stringing or flashing and inspecting it with a file to remove imperfections that could hinder filament movement. If necessary, cut away extra material or refrain from using it. To print the extruder part, stand it upright with the cable clip facing upwards. Inadequate bridging may necessitate clearing out underhangs or employing supports. When printing the M6 insert, orient it with the screw notch facing the build plate.
