I'm taking a flexible plastic and bending it to fit the standard MK8. The plastic bends easily, and when I release my grip, the flow of plastic stops. I based this on an amazing thing at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2051570 and added a small plug to fill the empty space in front of the nozzle's bore. Absolutely after printing, drill out the hole with a 2mm diameter drill bit.
